Pickers, or order pickers, are special equipment whose task is to complete various goods. It looks like this: a large warehouse stores different types of cargo in different cells. And the buyer needs to collect an order from goods of different nomenclature and equip the car with them. In this case, the order picker comes to the rescue, combining the functions of a self-propelled trolley, a reach truck and a stacker.

Order pickers can be horizontal and vertical. They differ from other types of equipment, first of all, by the operator's workplace, which completes the goods on the shelves manually. There may also be a sticker printer, a paper roll holder, and many other devices.

• A vertical picker works with goods on racks. They are equipped with platforms and pitchforks for grabbing pallets. Also, the design of the equipment assumes the presence of an electric drive that raises and lowers the platform.
• The horizontal picker is designed to work on the first or second level, no higher. It can be equipped with a platform with a lift or an additional platform for the operator.
