An electric loader is a type of self–propelled equipment for lifting, transporting and stowing various loads, which has a higher speed than an electric stacker. Therefore, an electric loader is more suitable if there is a need to transport goods from one warehouse to another or from a warehouse to production facilities and vice versa.

Despite the fact that stackers and loaders are used for similar tasks, the difference between an electric loader and an electric stacker is quite large. And, first of all, the differences relate to the design.

Types of loaders

According to their design, loaders are divided into four-support and three-support. The first type includes cars with front-wheel drive and with rear swivel wheels. Such loaders are characterized by: speed of movement, stability and the ability to carry loads with a large weight. The disadvantage of these electric loaders is their limited maneuverability in small rooms.
Four-wheel loaders are equipped with a double or single rear wheel, which ensures their greater maneuverability and low energy consumption. The disadvantages of this technique are the inability to lift loads of more than three tons, as well as its lower lateral stability.
Loaders with three supports are divided into machines with front and rear-wheel drive. Front-wheel drive cars can have a drive for each wheel individually or for a pair of wheels in general. Such units are necessary for lifting cargo weighing more than one and a half tons. To transport less weight, purposefully use rear-wheel drive equipment.
