From a technical point of view, a reach truck is a stacker with a retractable forklift. Either the mast itself or the fork grip can be extended. This type of warehouse equipment is specially designed to work in narrow aisles (NA – narrow aisle) with a width of 1.6 m, and is recommended for warehouses with a storage height of up to 12 m. The use of reach trucks makes it possible to increase the storage density of goods by one third or more (depending on the height and type of shelving systems).
